I have been in the entrepreneurial online marketing space for over seven years now. I run this blog, Rewild Mother, and my photography business, Kaleigh Eliza Photography. When we focus on building income streams in these three areas, we can stabilize our total source of income. What I mean by this is that if one of these streams of income were to immediately stop for reasons out of your control, you have the others to rely on. An easy example of this is back in 2020 when all in-person services were immediately compromised. Business owners such as hairdressers, photographers, wedding planners, florists, personal trainers, yoga instructors, and many many others that were deemed “non-essential” had their income plummet overnight. Of course, you could develop a product, make it or have it manufactured, and sell it online. I go more into detail about this process of selling products in my free ebook linked below. However, the absolute quickest and easiest way to build an income stream from selling products is to join affiliate programs and/or a direct sales company. 

I watched the direct sales industry for so long before I finally felt ready to join it, and I’m so glad that I did! The direct sales industry used to get a bad rap at times due to the way *some* people chose to market in slimy ways. However, the popularity of direct sales companies today is absolutely booming because the vast majority of people want to market their products and business opportunities with integrity and honesty. Furthermore, for the most part, the days of “hey girl” cold messaging have been replaced by respectful “click the sticker if you want more info” or “comment for the link”. The BEST parts about working with a direct sales company as an income stream in your online business is the incredible income opportunity, the camaraderie with other awesome business owners, and the access to some of the best products on the market.
